Today we started off with a brief acclimatization hike to the hilltop of Syangboche where we got to see Everest (if only for the very top of it), Nupste, Lotse and Ama Dablam. Drank tea sitting in the sun looking straight across at this colossal mountain range.
We crossed over the dodgiest airstrip ever, more potholes than Yankee Flat Road!!
For the rest of our spare day in Namche we just had a look around the shops and had a coffee in the local cafe (might sound mundane but was after a decent coffee, oh and free WiFi).
Would like to spend a bit more time in Namche, luckily enough on our way back through we get 3 free hours here.
